About Smart Change AI

Smart Change AI is a free browser-based toolkit for comparing text, documents, spreadsheets and lists. The site is designed for students, writers, analysts, store owners and operations teams.

Our approach

We focus on local processing and straightforward comparison controls. Text, CSV, XLSX and DOCX processing occurs on your device. PDF extraction uses an externally hosted PDF library loaded on demand; your document contents are not uploaded by this website.

Is this a generative AI tool?

Smart Change AI is the name of our comparison toolkit. In this release, Full and Smart comparisons use transparent, configurable rules and text-difference algorithms. They do not call a generative AI model. Smart mode can ignore selected dates, notes and customer fields but does not understand every document semantically.

Limitations

Automated comparisons can miss meaning or treat reworded sections as additions and removals. Always verify important results. PDFs with only scanned images are not supported.
