How to compare two texts
Paste your earlier text on the left and newer text on the right. Choose Full comparison or Smart comparison, select any ignore settings and click Compare. Green shows additions and red shows removals.
When to ignore dates or whitespace
Routine edits such as changing a date or formatting can distract from critical content changes. These rules are optional and should be switched off when exact differences matter.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Full and Smart comparison?
Full comparison displays all line differences, with optional ignore settings. Smart comparison can also exclude lines such as customer details and notes, and mask routine date changes.
Can I compare large texts?
Yes, up to 750,000 characters per input in this version. Very large comparisons may take longer depending on your device.
