About this comparison tool
Lists with repeated entries
Unlike a simple set comparison, the default mode counts repeated values. If a number appears three times in the original and once in the new list, it reports two removed copies.
Preserve leading zeros
List values are treated as text. Codes such as 00123 remain distinct from 123.
Frequently asked questions
Are repeated order numbers counted?
Yes. The default comparison checks the number of occurrences for each item, not only whether an item is present.
Can I ignore letter case?
Yes. You can ignore capitalisation, extra spaces and empty entries.
